And now for something a little different! Time for some photos of my very good friend Amanda, the girl behind LOT 83 Art & Design!
I was talking with someone this weekend about looking for light in different places and I went to show her these pictures that I took and I realized I never blogged them! *gasp* They are so fun, so I dug out my archives to show these off! Amanda and I shot these (believe it or not) in my garage! It was a gorgeous September morning and we enjoyed this shoot between sips of Sangria (it was 5 o’clock somewhere!).
Anyone who was been in my house or seen pictures of my house, this is THE GIRL who put that colour that everyone asks about on my wall! (Benjamin Moore, Pale Oak FYI) When we were going through the house building process she was there every step of the way to pick out paint colours and make sure all my selections matched. She was a life saver!!! Now she’s helping to turn our basement into Chris’s perfect man cave! We took these pics as she prepared to launch her website for interior design and to show off her art. Baby Abby’s six month milestone came and went and I forgot to blog her photos! Opps! But better late than never! If after looking at these pics you think that Abby is the smiliest baby ever, you’re right! She smiles so much and it’s so much fun to watch her when she giggles! Such a sweetie! She wasn’t quite sitting on her own yet at this shoot, but she tried….even if it meant a little topple onto the bed every now and then.

Since Stella starred in my Valentine’s Day shoot this year so close to her birthday we postponed her official birthday shoot until a little later. I knew I wanted to do a polka dot background to her and then the rest of the details just fell right into place. This was probably the easiest time we ever had picking her wardrobe! I think my favourite part might be the red striped tights with her pink Converse high tops!
One of our favourite things to do together is sing and and dance (march) to some of our favourite Disney songs so the soundtrack to this shoot was The Mickey Mouse Club March, Following the Leader and the Winnie the Pooh song (I like the classics!)….it kept Stellie dancing and singing when we almost had lost her attention!
Hard to believe this kiddo is three already! We just got back from a family vacation to Mexico a month ago and I think she was the most fun yet on this vacation! She was a little fish, swimming SO much, jumping in and being so brave. Only came out of the pool for smoothies! She requested “just ice cream” for lunch a couple times. Kept us entertained playing Paw Patrol in the pool (“Chase is on the case!”) and perhaps my favourite little Stella quirk from this vacation….when we said to her “thumbs up for Mexico!” she would say it back and stick out her pointer finger. He he. She keeps our life so entertaining and joyful! <3

Last time we saw Eliana on the blog it was to celebrate her first birthday and since that time she’s taken on the job of big sister! I met up with Eliana, Ryan and their parents a few weeks ago for a spring shoot! It still wasn’t really quite nice enough to be outside so we brought some spring colours inside for the shoot! As you can see they had lots of fun playing with some balloons! How cute are they? Matching blue eyes and blonde locks!
