I’m so behind in the game with my editing that this little baby beat me and made his entrance before I had time to post our bump session!! I met up with Colleen, Kevin and Zoey one mosquito filled August night for a bump session #2 for this family! Zoey’s maternity session is still one of my faves and this one will on on the list of faves along with that one – gorgeous family and a couple of gorgeous locations! I’ve been obsessed with vines this summer so I was so excited to find this little gem of a location on my way to ballet one day….I had been saving it for an evening shoot and this turned out to be the perfect one for it!
Since it’s taken me way too long to blog these photos, enough with the words, on to the gorgeous pics!! Stay tuned for Easton’s newborn session!
ENJOY!

The first night we were supposed to have this shoot thunderstorm warnings and heavy cloud cover diverted our plans. Bertha and I both dreamed of this session kissed with golden sunlight….so we decided to postpone and it’s a good thing we did….at the time we were supposed to start the skies opened and there was a heavy downpour. So the next week the sun came out for us and I was SO excited as I hit the road to meet Berth and Matt at their home. We started the shoot in a field of barley that Bertha planted herself! YUP! You read that right, she planted it. HERSELF. This girl is a real farm girl! From there we jumped into their beloved truck and went to find a creed and then on our way home I asked if we could just stop by some trees. A VERY large dog came to visit us in those trees….lucky for Bertha and I Matt saved us by escorting the dog on his way…phew.
I’m sure it won’t take you very many photos into this blog post to see how in love these two are. This was my third shoot with them (Lucky me!!) and I swear they look more and more in love each time I shoot them! These are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet….beautiful inside and out. They are going to make such wonderful parents!! Right after the shoot I posted a couple pics on my Facebook Page from the shoot and the response was unbelievable! So many lovely words for Matt and Bertha and it made me so happy because they are so deserving of all the lovely things all their fans were writing about them.
Matt and Bertha, as always it was a pleasure to have you in front of my camera.
Esther, thank-you so much for choosing me to take these photos for your sister – what a lovely thing you have done for them 🙂
ENJOY!!

I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of my clients when they were planning their weddings and then transition from their wedding photographer into their family photographer, but this lovely lady I met while she was helping to plan her sisters wedding! Between maternity, newborn and her sisters wedding i’m going to have the pleasure of having Danielle in front of my camera a lot this fall and I couldn’t be happier! Danielle is a natural in front of the camera!
We planned this session for early in July and we got a typical July day…HOT! We started out the session at Danielle and Jon’s home and then Danielle and I head off to the park to take a few more shots there. Since we started at their home, I got to have a sneak peek into the nursery that Danielle is working so hard on…I can’t wait to see it when she’s all done!!
Next time we see this beauty on the blog she will be holding a sweet lil babe in her arms!! Until then…enjoy!

Meet Sara and Tyler – I had the pleasure of photographing them just a few weeks ago. Sara is a friend of my sisters and they are expecting just a few months apart (how fun!!), so even though I had never met her before I kind of felt like I knew her. It was so fun to talk with them as I worked and hear about all the excitement leading up to welcoming “Thelma and Louise”. Yup, you read right, this gorgeous lady is expecting twins! Sara was kind of a dream to photograph….I mean, how cute is she?! We were wrapping up at the end of the shoot and she pulled out her jean jacket to put on to leave and I just could not let her out the door without photographing her in it!
What I loved most about this session was how in love these two are….there was just as much romance in the air at this session as there is at an engagement session! The way Tyler looks at Sara is just so sweet and you can just see the love and admiration. If there was this much love at the session with just the two of them I can only imagine how much love there will be when there are two little babies in the room with them. I can’t wait to be there two meet your two little ladies and see you both with a little babe in your arms 🙂
Sometimes….I just can’t stop snapping…but once you see these two you’ll understand why!
Enjoy!!
