A few weeks ago I met up with Rich, Marcia and Finley on a very special occasion! Mom & dad’s 14th anniversary! WOW! How special that they chose to spend their anniversary with me taking family photos! Of course we had to do something special to mark the occasion so Marcia brought along some lovely cupcakes from Lilac Bakery, some sparklers and some lemonade for a toast! We lit the sparklers and sang “happy anniversary to you!” and Finley was in a trance just watching the sparklers, it was so cute! Nothing could break her concentration!
The last time we saw Finley it was for her first birthday and she sure has turned into a little lady since then! I had a blast capturing these three together as a family, I had so many great, playful shots of the three of them together than I had such a hard time choosing which ones to share! I love that Finley showed me so many different sides of her personality at this shoot! Those little sly grins, big grins, giggles….and there was maybe a pout or two in there too but those are equally fun to capture!
Of course Finley came to the shoot stylin’ in her new Chucks! Marcia carefully planned Finley’s wardrobe and we shared a few texts and emails in the planning stages and it all paid off…how cute does she look?!

At the end of August I met up with Jennifer, Jarret, Ethan and Brodie for some fun family photos! The boys of this crew are avid cyclists so we though it would be pretty fun to include some shots with a vintage styled bike for the shoot….what a great idea! The boys loved it! And I loved it too, it made for some adorable photos!
My time with this family was so much fun! I love the shots of them climbing on the fence….boys will be boys!! When he was climbing up he said “lets take a monkey pic!” Love it!!

A few weeks ago I met up with Zoey, Easton, Colleen, Kevin and all of our little mosquito friends! Okay, well not so much the last part! 😉 It’s been almost a year since the last time we saw this crew and I was so excited to spend the evening outside with these four! Zoey twirled and posed for me (and talked my ear off!) and Owen liked playing with rocks and practiced his long distance running!
My favourite part of the shoot was ending it off with a sweet ice cream treat….I think it was Zoey’s favourite part too!

A few weeks ago I hit the gravel roads and head out to meet Brooklyn, Taylor and Brielle at their yard! I love a shoot on a country yard but this one was extra special because it’s the last one before the family moves off the yard. So we took some photos in and around the barn that they all love so much and then we head out to take some pics in a very special truck.
It was a HOT night when we took these pics but the girls were troopers! And even though there were thunderstorm warnings there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and not a drop of rain fell on us. These three are so sweet and full of spunk and I love their summertime freckles that come out!
