I don’t shoot a lot of newborn sessions these days but when it comes to family, I can never say no! Meet Cru! My cousin Darrin and his wife Tracy welcomed him a few weeks ago and Emily was so excited to introduce me to her new little brother when I went for a visit! In Tracy’s family Cru is the first grandson after 7 granddaughters! Woah! He has lots of cousins ready to take care of him…maybe dress him up and play with him 😉
Cru was pretty quiet and sleepy at his session, but Emily was chatty as ever, asking me what I was doing, telling me stories, sharing treat and just being her normal entertaining self! It was such a fun and special time spending the morning with these four, I even managed to get in a few Cru snuggles in between shots!

If you recognize this couple from a long long time ago on the blog you’re not mistaken! Way back when I used to shoot weddings Britney and Kevin were one of my lovely B2 couples! A few weeks ago I got the chance to catch up with them again! On my way to Winkler one weekend I made a pit stop in Morris to visit them and guess what?! They’re a family of three now! Britney, Kevin and cute little Chip! Britney won this years Love Day Giveaway and it was perfect timing…Chip was almost 6 months old for our shoot! He is oh so sweet! Doesn’t he have the cutest cheeks ever!

Last time we saw Eliana on the blog it was to celebrate her first birthday and since that time she’s taken on the job of big sister! I met up with Eliana, Ryan and their parents a few weeks ago for a spring shoot! It still wasn’t really quite nice enough to be outside so we brought some spring colours inside for the shoot! As you can see they had lots of fun playing with some balloons! How cute are they? Matching blue eyes and blonde locks!

I have one more shoot from 2015 that I just had to share!! I have been patiently…or impatiently waiting until after Christmas to share these and after viewing the blog post i’m sure you can see why….this was such a fun session!
Ever since Sharenda booked this shoot I have been SO excited to work with her boys! They look like so much from from what I have seen of them on Instagram and Facebook and I must say they did not disappoint! Smith and Liam were a blast to photograph! These two are not shy and chatted away the whole session! Telling me about the video games they love to play, helping me find spots we should stop for photos and even giving me their ideas for the next poses, by the end of the session Liam was pretending to take photos of me with his imaginary camera!
We had the perfect fall day for these photos, it was warm (almost hot!) and the fall colours were PERFECT!! I’m sure a week later the leaves were almost gone!
