The first weekend in November we were graced with a dusting of snow and one gorgeous mild Saturday morning…it was just the snow Sara had wished for her family session. It was my favourite kind of family session, fun, playful, exploratory and filled with Mason’s roaring like a dragon! ENJOY!

From the moment they stepped out of their vehicle these two little ladies kept me well entertained! London would say we chose a much more appropriate location this year since we went to “the woods” last year. This year we found a perfect place in the park with a bed of leaves beneath us to have a picnic of cupcakes! Yum!!! I’m not sure what was sweeter…the cupcakes or these girls! I’d vote for the girls 🙂
Enjoy!

This fall shoot was a special one! Cailin arrived with her mom and dad for the shoot with an SUV loaded full of goodies and fun fall stuff to set up for our perfect fall shoot! Sunflowers, pumpkins, hot chocolate, books, blankets….we had it all…including lots and lots of fun! Cailin always works her charm in front of the camera…a little bit of sassy and a lot of sweetness with this little lady! After our fun fall set up we went off in search of a corn field…not easy to find this late in the fall but we found one!
Enjoy!!

I love how photography connects people….it has brought new friends into my life and old friends back into my life. Cheryl was probably one of my very first friends….I have pictures of us together in many skating carnivals when we were little tots, we went to Sunday school together, school together…you get the idea. When you grow up in a smaller town/city after high school many people part ways and move away for school, missions, love and whatever else. Cheryl’s adventures led her to Pennsylvania where she now lives with her hubby and ADORABLE daughter Elyse. When Cheryl left a sweet comment on my Facebook Page about dreaming of a shoot with me her sister stepped into action and emailed me about booking a shoot for them when they were out for a visit. It was so much fun planning with her sister Lori because I knew how much Cheryl was going to love the surprise!
The day of the shoot finally rolled around and while the weather was a bit windy and cold, we made the best of it and even found some shelter from the wind in an empty shed. Elyse was such a little super star, entertaining us all with her sweetness and smarts! How cute are her pigtails??
Cheryl – I really hope this will not be our last shoot together! It was so wonderful to see you and meet your sweet family!!
Enjoy!
