A few weeks ago I met up with this fab family at Bruce Park! It was the Sunday of The Teddy Bears Picnic so we were lucky enough to have music in the background as we went about our way in the park! Cade and Nora are both so sweet. Cade with his big blue eyes and Nora with her sweet little giggles….the camera loves these two!

I’ve been photographing this little sweetie since she was a newborn and I always look forward to our shoot together! Matea is such a little lady and she is always SO polite! A true joy to have in front of my camera!
This year for her spring shoot we went in search of a location that was a little run down and I found this great spot on my way to my dance class one Monday evening (my eyes are ALWAYS searching for shoot locations)! When we showed up for the shoot the building owner was outside and I went over to talk to him and make sure we were okay to shoot there, he asked why we wanted to shoot there since the building was so run down…I said that was exactly why we wanted to shoot there! And the location did not disappoint, I love the results of this shoot!
When planning the location for your summer shoots don’t worry if you don’t know where to go…I have a lot of hidden gems just waiting to be used 🙂 ENJOY!

This spring was so unpredictable that it was hard to tell what kind of weather we were going to have for this shoot! But the snow disappeared just in time and the sun was shining and warm this May afternoon! Ricky, Maddie and I explored some sights at the University of Manitoba and finally landed up at this lovely little castle down by the river enjoying the sunshine! It’s been fun watching these two grow up year to year and I can hardly believe Maddie will go to Kindergarten this coming fall! But i’m sure big brother Ricky will have lots of tips for her!

One blustery Sunday morning not too long ago I met up with the Epp family for Owen’s 3rd birthday shoot!! Since his birthday is in February we’re always looking for a new indoor location to head to – last year it was my favourite colour filled location and this year we stormed the Red River College Princess Street Campus. Okay, we didn’t really storm it – we booked it well in advance of the shoot 😉 The location provided us with gorgeous brick backdrops and the kids loved watching the elevator going up and down!
I always have so much much fun with the Epp family, Owen is so much fun and quite talkative. As I was editing these pics I have a few laugh out loud moments at the silly faces Owen makes….he’s such a character and perfectly encompasses what I love about little boys…the perfect mix of sweetness, silliness and a little bit of mischeif!! Enjoy!!
