Meet Nick!! This sweet little boy is kiddo #2 for Jamie and Tracy and little brother to Jack! I was lucky enough to meet this little peanut when he was less than a week old! My time at Jamie and Tracy’s house was very entertaining – when I wasn’t being charmed by Nick and all his sweet expressions I was having my feet tickled by the little creature that lived under Jack’s blanket 🙂 AND I was even lucky enough to have a couple books read to me by Jack! Can’t wait to watch Nick grow and change and see his little personality develop. If Nick grows up to be like his brother Jack he will sure be a little charmer!

One blustery Sunday morning not too long ago I met up with the Epp family for Owen’s 3rd birthday shoot!! Since his birthday is in February we’re always looking for a new indoor location to head to – last year it was my favourite colour filled location and this year we stormed the Red River College Princess Street Campus. Okay, we didn’t really storm it – we booked it well in advance of the shoot 😉 The location provided us with gorgeous brick backdrops and the kids loved watching the elevator going up and down!
I always have so much much fun with the Epp family, Owen is so much fun and quite talkative. As I was editing these pics I have a few laugh out loud moments at the silly faces Owen makes….he’s such a character and perfectly encompasses what I love about little boys…the perfect mix of sweetness, silliness and a little bit of mischeif!! Enjoy!!

For the last number of years I have been lucky enough to kick of a new year of shooting with blog favorite, Jordyn. Last year she brought along her sled and we explored the forrest, this year she brought along her new iPod and we danced above the streets of downtown on a snowy morning! AND this year she brought along her equally cute bro and sis – Jack and Ruby!
As always, Jordyn came to the session looking so stylish and rocking her brand new purple Uggs sent to her all the way from Austrailia! Now 5 (!) years old Jordyn LOVES music and sang long on her iPod to Taylor Swift as we were taking some of these pictures “we are never ever ever getting back together…..”, it was so cute! And i’m sure her dad is happy to hear her sing those lyrics….practicing for some day down the road because i’m sure many many boys will be chasing after this cutie!
Last time we saw this family it was in the summer to celebrate Jack and Ruby turning 1 and I think it’s quite possible that these kids just get cuter and cuter every time I see them!

The first weekend in November we were graced with a dusting of snow and one gorgeous mild Saturday morning…it was just the snow Sara had wished for her family session. It was my favourite kind of family session, fun, playful, exploratory and filled with Mason’s roaring like a dragon! ENJOY!
