It’s been such a busy fall that not all my sessions have made it on to the blog….this evening as I was doing some organizing on my computer I realized I had yet to blog the family pictures that happened during my camping shoot with Natalie, Myla and Emily this summer! After years of taking pics of these girls I finally got the whole fam in front of my camera….it was worth the wait 🙂 How gorgeous are they??

A few weeks ago I met up with Tracy, Jamie, Jack and Nick for some 5 month photos of Nick and a few family shots. This is one of my favourite ages to photograph, I just love the simplicity of these photos, just a baby on a big bed. Is there anything cuter than a baby in nothin’ but a diaper playing with his toes? Well maybe the ones of him eating his fingers 😉 Nick has the most gorgeous big brown eyes and check out those LONG eyelashes!
I love comparing the pics of these two brothers…even though there are some things that are so different about them I still see so many similarities between the two of them…as I was editing the photos a little smile from Nick totally reminded me of some of the little smiles Jack gave at his six month photos. Just being able to notice these little things reminds me how lucky I am to photograph families from one kiddo to the next, capturing all the special milestones as they grow!
After some photos inside we braved the cold and wind for just a few shots outside….it was cold but after a little swinging and jumping I think Jack forgot all about the cold!
ENJOY!

I seem to meet up with this family on days that resemble the day from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day…..there even might have been traces of snow on in the air on the October day that we meet up for this shoot! But we found some shelter in the trees and mom came prepared with lots of different layering options, blankets, mittens and sparkles for a little bit of fun! They also came prepared to this shoot with treats to keep us adults warm…Starbucks! Seriously, I get to work with the most lovely people who even bring me treats to sessions!
Helga is a little ball of energy and within no time she had forgotten about the cold weather and was just as entertaining as always! She is always full of laughs and smiles…I’m not sure I’ve ever seen her without a smile on her face!
My favourite part of this session was all the cozy family shots we got! Some big time faves in this post!
ENJOY!

Since Chris and I have moved I’ve never really taken the time to explore the forrest that runs behind our house, one time I tried but I spotted a deer and promptly ran back to our house. While that all changed at this session! Jay and Lisa back onto the same wonderful forest so I figure this was the perfect spot for our shoot! Lisa had taken the time to walk the trails and had some spots in mind and they were perfect! Rylee and Kane were so entertaining during this shoot…i’m sure it looked like chaos to the parents but through my lens I saw two adorable, spunky, playful kiddos!! Kane is such a little charmer and Rylee….those big blue eyes are mesmerizing!!!
After playing in the leaves (Kane LOVED to throw them!) we head to a clearing in the trail and broke out the hot chocolate and marshmallows! Or in Kane’s case…marshmallows with a little bit of hot chocolate! I love these family images so much, I think the images with the hot chocolate are the perfect type of image to make big and display in a kitchen!
ENJOY!
So much fall fun coming to the blog!!
