I love my shoots with these four, they are always entertaining! We were so happy the sun showed up for our shoot! Léa came lookin’ all cute in her ice cream cone sun dress and Lucie came Sheepie in hand ready to have some fun! I love all the colour in this shoot, the little rocking chair, the girls outfits, everything was coordinated so perfectly!
As always mom came with lots of fun planned for the girls…watering cans, pails, bunting and last but not least CUPCAKES!!! Any shoot that ends with cupcakes is going to be a great one and this one sure was….ENJOY!

I’ve known Jeremy for a really long time….since we were kiddos, so I was extra excited to go visit Jeremy, Ang and sweet little Norah, these three are one sweet little family! Norah was a superstar! She hardly made a peep the whole time I was there. Her parents relaxed and told stories of her first couple weeks at home and she must have just loved hearing the sounds of their voices because it kept her relaxed and sleeping the whole time!
I loved taking pictures in Norah’s new room! So many gorgeous details – that gorgeous baby blanket, a hand me down rocking horse and lovely natural light streaming in from all the windows.

I knew from the moment I walked in the door that this was going to be a fun session! The first thing Jeff said when I walked in the house was “Janie, Becky’s here, unleash the dogs!”. Lol, I knew it was a safe zone and no dogs were going to come running for me because Janie already told me in an email they were a pet safe zone. Good try Jeff! But it sure started the shoot off on a fun note and it didn’t change from there! The moment I met Zoe she started chatting with me and hardly stopped, I was so entertained by her – she told me her favourite princess was Rapunzel, showed me her dollhouse and let me know I was allowed to take 1o pictures of her. Sam was fairly relaxed and just hung out quietly most of the session by the end he was ready for a little nap and I took the opportunity to capture some pics of his sweet face!
I love visiting my clients in their homes for sessions when it’s not quite nice enough to be outside. It makes the backdrop to your photos truly unique to you! I always find little spots in the home begging to be photographed, just like the gorgeous stairs in this home!

One day after a weekend of winter fun with her family, Tracy came to me with the request to take some fun pictures of her and her boys. She was little bit bummed that she was always taking the pictures and wasn’t usually in the pics besides a selfie here and there. This deserved a photo shoot!! I really wanted to deliver something special for her because well, she is one amazing friend!!! This girl….she has been a constant source of support to me over the last year, she is always there to listen, offer kind words and she gives the best hugs. She really is something special!! And she is an amazing mom too!! After spending any time with her and her boys you can just tell that she makes life so much fun for her them. I’m sure once Jack and Nick are older they will appreciate their mom’s listening ear and kind words and advice so much. Tracy is one of those girls who falls into the category of “cool mom”. I just love her so much and I’m so happy that she gets to star in these photos with all her boys!
After a long winter I usually get pretty antsy to start shooting outside and get going on some fun projects. When Tracy came to me for this shoot I had just the idea for her! I probably talked her ear off about my ideas when she asked me if I thought it would work to do something indoors – I had been waiting to execute a shoot like this with a couple stylin little guys. Her boys fit the bill! A little prep on my end (cutting out music notes) and a little prep on her end (shopping, record player gathering) we were ready for a rockin’ good time!! This was such a perfect session for two active little boys, lots of interaction, dancing, singing and just a whole lotta fun!
