Last weekend this little lady bounced up my front steps and in the front door and instantly started chatting my ear off…..”my mom and dad had one like this on their wedding cake” (pointing to my Precious Moments Christmas village), “I know, I took pictures at their wedding!” She looked at me a little skeptical and I said “no really, I did!”……”Cool.” I think she believed me 😉
Shelley texted me about Bella’s birthday shoot just after Christmas and I was instantly excited! She sent me a picture of the dress, told me Bella loves all things pink and princess and left the rest up to me. It really means so much when people trust me to do my thing!! I was so excited to pull something together that was silver and gold, with lots of balloons! I love Celebration Sessions and this might be one of my favourites!
Bella was pure entertainment the whole shoot! She was such a joy to have in front of my camera and made the shoot oodles of fun for me! I loved how she got so into it, coming up with poses, proudly wearing the tiara I crafted and trying to blow the confetti! 😉 Check out all the fun we had!
ENJOY!

A few weeks ago Harper came over, with her teddy and her bunny in tow and we had a fun session for her birthday! That’s right, this little sweetheart turned one last month! It was fun to see how she had grown since the last time we saw on her on the blog, she is SO happy! Happy and fun! She sure loved to talk on her dad’s Blackberry and I especially loved how she would copy her mom and sing “la la la”, so cute! Speaking of cute if there was an award for cutest cheeks this little one would win! Cheeks for days! Love it!
When we were planning this session I asked Cory and Lauren if they had any certain colours in mind for the session, they told me they were ok with a “whole lotta colour”. No problems here! I specialize in that 😉
Enjoy!!

When Emily was just a tiny babe her Auntie JuJu and I took a trip to Walhalla to pick up some goods for all of the online shoppers in our family. One of the packages was for Emily’s mom Tracy and when I peaked into that bag I squealed when I saw tiny little 7 For All Mankind baby jeans. Pink and gold baby jeans! Ever since then I had been thinking of a pretty pink Celebration Session for Emily and this session turned out to be just as sweet as I imagined! Pink and gold where the colours of the party decor at Emily’s birthday so Tracy even had made some gorgeous bunting that matched perfectly!
We’ve seen Emily on the blog from bump to baby and now well on her way to being a little toddler! It has been such a joy watching her grow this year! This little one is every bit as sweet as she looks! It’s so fun to watch her as she learns all kind of new things, my favourite would have to be her growling like a bear 😉
She wasn’t too keen on being the star of this show, she probably would have rather explored and played, but once we brought out some cheerios she was happy to perform…I guess “will work for food” is true for this little gal! Te he.
ENJOY!

When I dream up a session they usually start from a simple idea or item and snowballs from there, the first thing I had bought for this session was the LOVE balloons and after buying them I kept thinking of the song “L is for the way you look at me”….wouldn’t it be fun if I had a retro microphone for this shoot and some little performers!? After a New Years coffee date with my friend Kara I knew exactly who those little performers needed to be, as her girls spent much of our coffee date singing their favourite songs for me! Sarah got a microphone set for Christmas and it reminded me so much of myself when I was a kid. The world was my stage, I would perform for anyone who would watch!! (One of my favorite Christmas gifts ever was My First Sony!) I asked Kara if I could borrow her girls for the shoot and thankfully she agreed! From there the texts of outfit pictures started….I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again…Kara puts together a mean photoshoot wardrobe! And by that I mean PERFECT! When the girls came over Sarah said to me “it looks like a stage!”. Mission accomplished! We tossed balloons, sang songs and had a grand time!
Lots of LOVE to everyone this Valentine’s Day! Once you’re done admiring these cuties don’t forget to enter the LOVE Day Giveaway!!
Now without further ado…..presenting Sarah, Ellen and Edith too!!
