A few weeks ago I met up with Tracy, Jamie, Jack and Nick for some 5 month photos of Nick and a few family shots. This is one of my favourite ages to photograph, I just love the simplicity of these photos, just a baby on a big bed. Is there anything cuter than a baby in nothin’ but a diaper playing with his toes? Well maybe the ones of him eating his fingers 😉 Nick has the most gorgeous big brown eyes and check out those LONG eyelashes!
I love comparing the pics of these two brothers…even though there are some things that are so different about them I still see so many similarities between the two of them…as I was editing the photos a little smile from Nick totally reminded me of some of the little smiles Jack gave at his six month photos. Just being able to notice these little things reminds me how lucky I am to photograph families from one kiddo to the next, capturing all the special milestones as they grow!
After some photos inside we braved the cold and wind for just a few shots outside….it was cold but after a little swinging and jumping I think Jack forgot all about the cold!

A few weeks ago, on a lovely fall day I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Cameron! This little guy is just oh, so cute! His big blue eyes, little curls and all his expressions make him a dream to photograph! A pout here, a giggle there and trying to eat leaves at every chance he got! His extra big smiles are special thanks to his super cool Auntie Julie who was an excellent “baby wrangler” at this session helping to keep his attention and get some adorable expressions! He sure made her and his mom work hard for those cute faces!

A few weeks ago I met up with Sean, Sarah, Cavell and Nixon to get some 6 month photos of Nixon. I’m sure you’ll remember this cute little guy from his newborn shoot and he has just gotten cuter and cuter!! Apart from his amazing hair he also has all kinds of fun expressions! From happy and giggly to serious and all business in seconds! What a cutie!
I love a family that gets playful in front of the camera and these guys did not disappoint! Cavell helped to keep things light and fun, running in every now and then to give her brother a hug or a tickle! Mom and Dad were also SO great and getting the laughs out of Nixon…you can totally tell in the pics of them together how much he loves his mom and dad <3 I had so many BEAUTIFUL images of Nixon and his mom that it was hard to pick just a few of them to blog! It was hard to narrow down my favourites in general so ENJOY a lot of my faves 🙂

Resident sweet heart of our family is 5 and a half months! She came to my house for the day with my sister and my mom this week and we all hung out while Stella entertained us for the day. It was kind of funny that when she first got to my house I had a little bit of work to finish up and she sat and watched me the whole time….like she was just waiting for me to put the work away and PLAY! Well we did play…but only after a few photos of course! Stella loves to watch trees when she’s laying on the floor and with my big windows and forrest behind the house it’s perfect for tree watching…it just means I have to be extra silly for her to look at my camera instead of the trees 🙂
