Stellie got some new rain boots! So we took her to the farm and let her run around, she only got a little bit dirty in the process. We pulled out some bubbles with her for the first time, her response? Wow! Her new favourite word. Oh how we love this little one, she never fails to brighten up our days!

Dear sweet Stella, Stellie, Stellie Pie,
My oh my, what an amazing year it has been watching you grow and change and learn. You are the smartest, silliest and sweetest little lady! You have so many people who love you so very much, no matter where you show up it’s always a race to the door to greet you and you’re always smiling that big silly grin! We have had so many fun adventures this year trips to Fargo, Vancouver, Mexico…you are a pro at shopping and swimming!
You have learned so many tricks this year! You know what the cow, duck and sheep says, you love to dance and clap to music, you laugh big laughs like your silly aunties, you growl like grammy and wiggle like gramps, you play your own version of Marko Polo with your dad, you make lots of fun noises with your mouth and you’re even starting to take a few steps on your own. I love that we get to FaceTime almost every day so you can tell me all about the exciting day you had!
I know this year will be equally as exciting and I can’t wait for many many more adventures with Stella.

Yesterday evening my sister and her husband had a Christmas banquet so Stella joined myself, my mom and dad and two of my aunts for the evening….and we proceeded to be well entrained by her all evening. When my sister was packing Stella’s bag I asked her to throw in some Christmas PJs for her and I’m sure Gina knew exactly what I was up to! lol. So after her bath, when Stella was cozy in her jammies we brought her over to check out grammies Christmas tree. It was close to her bedtime but she was still so silly and enjoying every second of all the attention.

I knew I was going to have to do something special for the photos for Stella’s first Christmas card and it all started with a special little outfit that was purchased for Stella long before she was born by a special friend – it was the cutest little fair aisle sweater! As soon as I saw the outfit I knew I wanted to set up something silver and sparkly for her I knew the backdrop that Kara and I used for our New Years Shoot last year would be perfect! Being the little runt that she is when Gina and I tried the outfit on Stella this September she was still drowning in it!! Time for some online power shopping!! We found the cutest little white sweater at Zara paired with her jean skirt and Uggs it was the perfect stylin’ little winter outfit we always had in mind!
I love the close ups of her with the hood on…what a little cutie! Even when she’s not smiling how can you not smile back at those big brown eyes?!
Doesn’t my sis look gorgeous?! Big shout out to Tammy (one of the gorgeous mom’s to be who was on the blog just a couple weeks ago)….she is a talented make-up artist and hair stylist who glammed Gina up that morning before the shoot!
