Being Facebook friends with my clients allows me an extra little peek into their lives before our sessions….sometimes by looking at pictures of the activities they like doing together I’ll get an idea for a location or a theme for a session, or i’ll see things in their homes or toys that their kids have and i’ll ask them to bring them along….for this session I spied something in Melissa’s Facebook photos that I knew I would LOVE to incorporate into pictures before the session was even booked.  So when Melissa booked a family session for her, Patrick, Emily and Leo I knew I had to ask about them bringing about their baby drum-set….lucky for me her Pat loved the idea.  So one Sunday morning a few weeks ago we met at a parkade downtown and Patrick packed their stroller full of all the different pieces and up we went to the top floor!

I was extra excited for this session because Melissa and I go WAY back….we went to high school together in Winkler, I remember sitting beside her in grade 9 choir, painting grad decorations with her, fun Friday road trips to Morden beach during spare….really anything you did with Melissa was going to be a good time because she always brought laughter and her sense of adventure everywhere she went!  Life’s adventures took her to Montreal a few years after graduating and now she’s been back in Manitoba for a while and lucky for me, she asked me to capture some photos of her sweet family!  I had such a great morning with these four and am so excited to show off these rockin’ family photos!  ENJOY!
