April showers, bring May flowers!
This session was born out of me thinking about some of the things that inspire me….colour, patterns, seasons….I was determined to bring spring to this shoot even if spring was late in coming to Winnipeg! I spent a lot of time thinking about the phrase “April showers, bring May flowers” and how I could bring that to this shoot. When it was time to find a model for this shoot I knew exactly what I was looking for a cute little brunette with LOTS of personality in front of the camera….and one little lady popped into my head. Jordyn. This little crowd pleaser has so much personality and was whipping out all kind of poses for me! When her mom stepped in to help her fix some wardrobe she would say “out of my pictures mom!” – she was taking her work as a model seriously! So cute!
Thank-you so much to Jordyn’s mom Chantel who jumped on board so enthusiastically and packed a lovely little suitcase full of bright colours, bracelets, lip gloss, headbands and all things girly! And thank-you to my lovely little model Jordyn who did not hold back at all in front of my camera!
This is what I LOVE to do. I love to dream and plan and craft and create shoots like this that show imagination and personality! I am so thankful that this job allows to me to continue to live with a childlike imagination and create things that live in my day dreams. I am so thankful to have so many wonderful clients who trust me to capture the precious memories of their children.
