You’ve had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born

My dear sweet Stella,

You’re finally here!  You came into this world in a grand fashion just a few days ago and there are SO many people who love you so so much!  It feels like just yesterday your mummy told me she was pregnant with you…..your parents were camping and I was driving to Winkler to photograph another little baby and I was so excited that I cried!  The next few months everyone spent lots of time getting ready for you!  I made some pictures for your nursery, your Grams sewed all your bedding and curtains, your daddy set up all kinds of furniture for you and your mummy did lots and lots and lots (and lots) of shopping!

Your mummy was made for this job and she’s been practicing for a very long time,  when she was little she had one little cabbage patch doll named Lisa Joanne and  she took such good care of her….she even still has her!  Maybe one day your mum will give you Lisa Joanne and then you can practice being a mummy too!  You know how else I know your mum was made to take care of you?  Because as my big sister she has always taken the best care of me!  She is thoughtful, considerate, kind hearted and always puts other people first.  You are in the best hands Stella!

When you were awake this weekend (which was rare) you were so calm.  Calm and collected just like your daddy.  As you grow up i’m pretty sure your daddy will make you laugh lots and lots, he’s so funny and he makes all of us laugh with his wits!

Sweet little Stella Pie, only three days new and I love you SO much!  I can’t wait to watch you grow up!  We will have so many fun adventures together….and I’ll always bring my camera along!  I promise to watch Jem with you and always make sure there’s something with sparkles in your closet.  I promise to take you to your first boy band concert and teach you how to skate.  I promise to always have candies at my house for you.

 This is just the first of our many photo adventures together,  I’ll be back next weekend with my camera and to get some more snuggles with you!
