This is not the first time I’ve had Chad and Stacey in front of my camera, and as always it’s such a pleasure to photograph them. This year they decided to do a little “celebration shoot” for their FIVE year wedding anniversary! It was a gorgeous afternoon and it’s hard to believe just a couple of weeks ago there were still that many leaves on the trees! Enjoy this sneak peek and here’s to many many more years of happily ever after!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the treats inside? DELIGHTFUL!
M-m-m-m-m-m-good!!!

MOvember is almost over!! While the month does great things for raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer I can say that I will be happy to see Chris’s moustache go at the end of the month!!
This weekend I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Winnipeg Movember Gala Event, “The MOcial” at 4Play Sports Bar in downtown Winnipeg. The event was a huge success and the party was filled with awesome moustaches and then of course some bad moustaches….but it’s all in great fun and for a GREAT cause! AND I’m happy to say that we raised some good coin with the photo booth which I happily donated to Prostate Cancer Canada.
AND don’t forget it’s not too late to donate!!! Here are two teams that i’m supporting!
The Cinestaches – Chris joined forces with the guys from At First Sight to raise some funds
The Hydro Mo’s – This year the goal for this team was to break the $19,000 mark…AND if they did Leah was going to cut and donate her hair…..well they broke the record and Wednesday is the big cut!!
Here are some of my favorite shots from the night!

And the Winnipeg Movember Committee that has been working hard since the summer to make all the events around Winnipeg happen!!

Many of you will recognize this house as a house i’ve shot in before, or the house my dad grew up in, but my dad and his siblings were not the only kids to grow up in this house. Sometime after my dad’s family moved out of the village, Kelly’s family moved in. And while the house has been sitting empty for the last 4 years or so, there are soooooo many memories still living in that house. If those walls could talk i’m sure they would have many stories to tell of giggling sisters learning to dance in an upstairs bedroom (and I do know that one happened for sure).
Kelly emailed me this summer familiar with pictures i’ve taken in the house and asked if we could go there for a shoot….so I booked her in for a November date. A week later I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic when I realized I double booked her date!! I emailed her to apologize and offer her a different date a couple weeks earlier…..lucky for us it was a happy accident because if we would have shot on the actual date (this weekend) we would have had a foot of snow outside and i’m sure the house would have been FREEZING!
Enjoy your sneak peek Kelly and Garry! I hope the pictures will you give you a lifelong memory of your old home!

There are no words to describe how much I adore these three little girls. Every time I leave a shoot with them I wish I was 7 again, and if I was i’m pretty sure we would be fast friends! Today’s shoot was out of this world, and this is just an itty bitty peak into the magic that happened.

The firecracker…Natalie

Sweet, sweet Myla

The littlest princess, Emily

Thank-you girls for letting me into your world! I treasure all the time I get spend with you, documenting your special sisterly bond

When Jamie’s mom contacted me about doing a birthday photo shoot with her daughter and some of her friends I was SO excited! What’s more fun than a photo shoot with a bunch of teenage girls? I love just for fun photo shoots like this!
So one Saturday afternoon I met up with Jamie and some of her friends downtown for the big shoot! Much to my dismay it started to POUR just as we met downtown
So we headed to the Millennium Library as our back up plan, but the time we got there it had stopped raining, so we took advantage of it and shot around outside for a bit. Then went inside for a quick wardrobe change and….it started to rain AGAIN! So we shot a bit inside and then when it stopped raining we finished up outside. I took a tonne of photos that day but for now here are some of the birthday girl

Well it wasn’t exactly a parade, but it was a very special photo shoot for this young lady’s 15th birthday! Thankfully the rain only kept us inside for a little while. Stay tuned for more!!
