A couple weeks ago I met up with Erin and Brad at The Forks for their e-session. It was kind of a last minute decision and I would say it was a great decision! E-sessions are always a good way to get comfortable in front of the camera….and it didn’t take long for these two to get comfortable! Brad had Erin laughing in no time and anyone who’s a regular reader at the blog knows I LOVE when the laughs come out at ANY kind of session!
These two are getting married in a few short weeks in Lockport and i’m so excited for their wedding day and all the time they’ve set aside for pictures!! It will be sure to be a great day with lots and lots of laughing and special moments
Oh and….yes, her eyes really are THAT blue! I’m so envious!

Last Sunday I spent part of the afternoon driving through the Pembina Hills with Christy and Evan for their engagement pictures. To pass the time we talked about all their wedding plans for their January wedding this coming winter (oooh, it feels wrong to even type winter in June!), there’s nothing I love more than some good wedding talk! We had a great time even though we got pretty much eaten alive by the mosquitoes…..but at least we didn’t get rained on!
A few pics at the Winkler Airport before we headed out into the hills….

These two love birds are tying the knot this weekend! Last week we went out, on a rather chilly evening for some engagement shots! It was a blast and I can’t wait to see these two this weekend in their wedding garb! Pretty sure Sara is going to be stunning!

I met Audrey about 3 years ago when she was my ballet teacher….as soon as I met her I liked her…she has an infectious, happy personality and it’s impossible not to like this girl! Plus, she had great taste in music….we danced ballet to Backstreet Boys….hello!! Fantastic! I was so excited to hear a while back that Audrey got engaged to her boyfriend Jason and even more excited when she asked me to take engagement pictures! I mean….this was payback, payback for all those painful developpe’s she put me through! Finally, I was going to be the one giving her orders! Shoulders back! Eyes up! Toes Pointed! Well okay….not quite the toe pointed part. Lol.
All joking aside, I had such a great evening with Audrey and Jason….they are so so sweet together! When you’re with them you can’t help but see how head over heel in love they are! It was great to hear about how they met and fell in love as we spent the evening together exploring around Kildonan Park. And then we finished off the night with some ice cream….what’s better than ice cream?! Nothing, except maybe cupcakes

from silly to serious in a matter of moments…

Becs and I go way back….and I could tell you all many great stories about how we spent one Valentines Day together eating McCains Cake and watching chick flicks with great actresses like Hillary Duff and Amanda Bynes, or I could tell you about our many Backstreet Boys adventures, road trips and BSB hunting in downtown Minneapolis (we found AJ and Brian!) or I could tell you about the time Kevin Richardson bought us a drink at Moxies. I could also tell you about how we watched Napoleon Dynatmite over and over and over again, and drove pretty much everyone around us crazy by only talking in terms from the movie. The thing about Becs is whenever you’re with her you’re smiling and laughing and having a pretty fun time!! After having this history with Becs I can’t tell you how flattered I was when she asked me to take wedding pictures for her and Kevin! Their wedding is not until July but last weekend we went out and took some e-pics. Don’t let the lack of snow on the ground in the pictures fool you…it was COLD and WINDY outside that day…but they were troopers and braved the weather with me. They kept warm by cuddling and sharing some kisses and giggles….the things we photographers love oh so much!

A couple weeks back, before our early October snow, I spent the evening with Jodie and Igor at Kings Park. We walked around, talked about their wedding plans and they showed me where at the park they got engaged. Their wedding is in September next year and I can’t wait…I bet they can’t either

This next B&W one is one of my faves!

And other favorite to end things off!

In just under a year from now these two will be tying the knot!! The countdown is on!

Saturday I met up with two brave souls at The Forks for some fun engagement photos. Why brave? Because it was -41 outside! I felt a little bad because there I was in 4 layers of clothing, my long North Face parka and my nice cozy warm touque and they did not have that luxury. We did the photoshoot in record time, I guess the cold motivated us! I can’t wait for their wedding in August when it will be nice and WARM outside and we won’t be too cold to move! lol.
