So my sister had a milestone birthday this year….I won’t tell you what milestone though because it’s not polite to tell a woman’s age
Growing up my sister and I had a volatile relationship….one minute we were playing Barbies happily in our “Barbie room” (yes, we had so many we needed a room to house their little world) and the next minute someone was biting someone’s arm (usually it was me doing the biting), then there was usually a storm out leaving someone playing Barbies alone, which was not that much fun so we’d patch things up and by the next day we’d be playing together again. Years later we don’t bite, hit or scratch each other and we are the best of friends!
Saturday night all my cousins and my sisters best friends went over to her place to celebrate and since it was such a special birthday this year I decided she needed a very special cake! So I called on Meghan of Meghan’s Cakes & Cookies and asked her to work her magic! And boy, did she ever! All of last week I was bugging my sister about the secret cake I had ordered. I told her it was a cake of a dog….and my sister is terrified of dogs (even more than I am!). Te he. But I would never order her a cake of a dog, in reality I ordered her a cake of something I KNEW without a DOUBT that she would love. Proof that I was so bang-on with this cake was something that she said to me the day before the party “I think if the little girls at the party don’t want to stay with the adults I’ll set up the JEM dvd’s for them to watch in the basement, they’ve never seen her before and all girls should know Jem”. The wait is over….here is the unbelievable cake!!

“Show-time Synergy!”

Her hair and make-up was SO shimmery!
