Lauren waited 8 years for the ring so I figured she’d done enough waiting and I better post at least one picture!  Besides, when I saw this one it instantly made me smile, moments like this make me happy

Have fun in Paris you two!  Bring me back a piece of the Eiffel Tower!  (I don’t ask for much).

I’m not sure I was was alone in this, but as a kid I loved going back to school….even as I got older and was in university…still loved going back to school.  My favorite part was all the new supplies!  There’s nothing like a brand new eraser or new highlighters or fun post-it notes!  I still envy kids at back to school time because I would love to be the one getting to walk through the aisles of Staples picking out new stuff!  Apart from the supplied another thing I love about back to school is the tradition I have with these three girls.  We’ve been doing back to school shoots since before the youngest was even in school!  And this year the oldest will graduate!  So I thought we may as well go to the laundromat to show her how she’ll be washing her clothes when she hits the real world! Lol, just kidding Ashton

As always it was a pleasure to spend time with you beautiful girls!!

When this shoot was planned a couple months ago we never dreamed it would be 31 degrees outside!  But we survived the heat and here’s a peak at what’s to come!

Last week I met up with Perry, Maggie and their daughters at the U of M for a photo shoot that Perry has been looking forward to for at least a year!  Perry is the worlds biggest Steelers fan and he had little cheerleader outfits for his girls and was very excited to get pictures of them wearing them.  After we got those they got changed and we took some more shots.  These two sisters are so different when it comes to being in front of the camera…Paige was always ready to have the camera on her and Abby was always running away!!  But that’s okay…I needed the exercise! Paige is quite the little girl and will do her best to steal your heart and wrap you around her little finger!  Everywhere we walked she bounded to my side and held my hand and talked and talked and told me all kinds of stories!!  What a girl!  She’ll keep her dad on his toes when the boys start to come……

This photo of Paige is my favorite, I love catching kids off guard when they are paying attention to someone other than me!

Even though Abby is getting ready to run away this is one of my favorite photos of the session!

Between packing, moving, unpacking and photoshoots this last week has been a little bit crazy for me; I’m still without internet at home which feels a little bit weird!! And has prevented me from doing any blogging.  But all the craziness was paused yesterday for Susan and Troy’s wedding.  This couple was such a pleasure to be around all day (and their wedding party was a hoot too!).  Susan is one of the most polite, kind and thoughtful people i’ve ever met.  As she was walking down the long aisle/path at Leo Mol yesterday I was taking some shots and as she passed by me she said “thank-you”….like I said SO POLITE.  Troy kept me on my toes…pulling out his best blue steel or magnum whenever he had a chance!  Susan and Troy are so cute together and you can see their love shining through when their laughing, joking, sharing a kiss or just standing and holding hands.

Thank-you guys so much for making me a part of your day!  It was such a pleasure to capture your special day!!  Here’s something for you to look at until your sneak peek is ready!

AND a BIG Thank-you to my partner in crime for the day, Trish!  I love having you as my extra set of eyes!  We’ve done this together for so long that we can tell what the other is thinking with a look!  My days are always more fun when you come along, Love you!!

Anyone who knows me knows I love to laugh!  And I also love it when the laughs come out during the photos!  I think this giggle was over something about Susan falling in love at first sight with Troy when he was dressed up as a gorilla…..:)

It’s Olivia’s 1st Birthday this week so I figured it would be a good plan to get these pictures blogged ASAP!  We had a fun morning one day this weekend and I followed her around with my camera while she kept me entertained.  She has just started to walk so she’s not fast enough to get away from me yet….just the way I like it!  She’s so determined and persistent little girl, even when she stumbles she goes back to walking…no more crawling for her!  I loved all her smiles, giggles and waves, she is such a happy and friendly girl!  She must get the from her mom and dad.
