One of the coolest things about photographing kids throughout their first year of life is getting to see all the little changes that happen as they grow.  It’s really neat to see them start to develop little personalities and hear parents tell stories about the silly things they do at home.  Since the last time I saw Matea she is sitting up on her own, motoring around when her mom and dad help her walk, waving “buh bye” as cars drive by…..AND she has teeth that make her smile so adorable!!

Natalie had grown up so much since the last time I took her picture!  But don’t let her petite stature fool you, this girl is a firecracker!  She has such a personality and sense of humour!  Check out this attitude she’s showing off for the camera!  Love her!!

Nicole Richie is that you?? Myla can pull off the bohemian style better than anyone her age….or older!

Secrets between sisters…so much fun.

Ready to hit the road!

Do you think this outfit comes in my size?  I asked Emily…she didn’t think so.  Check out those socks!! 

I love this shot!!  Emily was constantly running in on the action when her sisters were getting their shots taken….but they always had time for a snuggle with her….SO much love between these girls!

And before we all went home the girls popped open those pic-a-pops and had a drink in the shade with their beautiful, talented and fabulous mom!!

Thanks Susanne for entrusting your daughters with me for the day and sharing the amazing visions you always have for their shoots!  It’s such a pleasure to be able to spend time with them and i’m already looking forward to next year!  How will we top this?!  I’m sure you’ll think of something!

So when the mom of these three girls saw the pictures I took in my dads farmhouse she emailed me right away and said she HAD to have pictures of her girls taken in that house.  Of course I was happy to do it because these girls are so sweet and adorable I could take their pictures anywhere and they would be fabulous!  So add mom’s amazing styling to three ADORABLE blondies and an old vintage farm house and what do you get? THIS!

See the flower in Emily’s hair?  Her mom makes them! And all the little flowers on her dress too!  I was lucky enough to get one of those hair clips for myself, nothing more fun than wearing a flower in your hair in the summer!

I love how this pic is like snooping in on three sisters who are telling secrets (or jokes in this case!)

Sisters are so great to have when your shoe laces come undone.

In this pic Natalie is wearing her grandma’s wedding dress!  Nothing is more fun than dress-up!

After We finished up inside the house the girls changed into some of their favorite outfits and we headed outside to get some pictures….lollipops, pic-a-pop, vintage suitcases and just more sweetness to come later this week!!

I met with Ruby and her parents at our family’s farm yard that had lots of space for her to run and explore!  Her mom had packed her some wardrobe changes and I was so impressed with all of Ruby’s cute shoes!  Dare I say I was even jealous of her yellow patent mary-janes!  Ruby kept me quite entertained and it was so much fun to watch her check out her surroundings, she truly was a joy to photograph!!

Also, on a business note I just wanted to mention that i’m fully booked for the summer and have a waiting list running for the fall.  With wedding planning in full swing i’m trying to keep my schedule as manageable as possible (IF possible! lol), so I can enjoy my engagement to the fullest and not keep my clients waiting too long for their photos!  Speaking of…..on to Ruby’s photos!
