Torrin turned one at the beginning of March and today we had a play date and got some pictures of him.  I can’t believe he’s one already!  It has been such a fun year watching him grow and change.  Thanks Ev and Jen for letting me come over and borrow your little monkey for a photoshoot!

I love this shot!  Torrin loves his mama so much!!

I love this one.  It reminds me of a shot we took when Torrin was about 4 months.  He was getting a little tuckered out at this point and shortly after this shot Jen put him in his crib for a nap.

And shortly after that Torrin made it known that he wanted out of his crib, so he hung out with dad on the couch.  I was helping Jen with lunch in the kitchen when I peeked around the corner and saw this…I had to get a pic.

For all the photo geeks out there I thought I’d share this.  You may have seen it already, but it’s new to me and I think it’s brilliant!  Photoshop in real life..

This was done by the ad agency Bates 141 in Indonesia, and the actual set built was 7×5 meters!

I have been a fan of the online celeb gossip rags long before Perez Hilton was Perez Hilton, back when he was just some guy writing about celebrities, back when Page 6 threatened to sue him and he had to change his website name.  But my love for celebrity gossip didn’t start with his site….it started with a radio host who used to post dirt on her radtio stations website and then slowly started to migrate onto her own website…D*anas Dirt.  She was the one who introduced me to Perez, Pink is the New Blog, Socialites Life…..and allll the rest of the great online rags.  I think one of my favorite things about D*ana is that she loves a lot of the same celebrities that I do and vice versa.  Check out D*anas Dirt!! 

I am so excited to finally show off my new look!!  Perfect timing too since I can show off my spring shoots on the new blog!!

I have been working for the past couple of weeks with the most amazing designer ever!  Genevieve from Lilac Creative took the few things I told her about myself (that i’m usually pretty cheerful) and my design style (I have a love affair with polka dots) and created some amazing concepts for me.  So amazing that I fell in love with two of them!  But when it came right down to it, this one the one that I love and made me feel happy.  I have seriously spent hours just staring and smiling at my new logo. Have I mentioned that I love this girl!!  She was so sweet and patient while I was trying to decide and even played the part of design therapist quite well when I didn’t think I could ever make a decision.

On top of the logo she also designed this sweet new blog for me!  I love how it incorporates the graphical element of my new logo.  AND it’s also super easy to leave comments on this blog (HINT HINT), no need to log in, or have any kind of account…just type and hit “submit comment”…easy as pie! (except i’ve NEVER made a pie…so what do I know?  But still…really easy)

Thank-you Genevieve!!  You made my weekend!  I’m so happy I got the chance to work with you!!

A long time ago while watching the last episode of Friends I remember seeing Rachel carrying the most gorgeous Louis Vuitton bag and I HAD to know what it was called and how I could get it….during my search I found an amazing website called Celebrity Style Guide Much to my dismay the bag is vintage and i’ll probably never find it, but I did find one gem of a website in my search!  You can search for celebrity fashions by designer, tv show, movie and star.  Check it out!  Much like the last site I posted you could get lost here for hours!!!

P.S. keep your eyes on the blog for a pretty new look sometime in the next little while! YAY!

Kara, Becky and Tracy are giddy like school girls to announce our Girls are a Girls Best friend photo contest!

I am SO excited for this contest and so excited to work together with Kara and Tracy! There’s no one other than Tracy that I would let touch my hair or nails and Kara is a constant inspiration for me and someone I love to chat photography with. They are both great friends of mine and i’m so privileged to be working with them, I have no doubt the results will be outstanding!!

Ever finish watching an episode of Brothers amp; Sisters, Lipstick Jungle, The Hills and think “I loved her dress, I wonder where I can find one like that?”  Well wonder no more!  SeenON! is a great website where you can find out the answers to those exact questions!! They have style guides for so many of the biggest shows on TV right now (and for TV Shows past i’ll share another website next week) and even a few movies!  Check it out….I could spend hours on this website!!

The last time I saw Matea she was a newborn and I was so excited to see how she had grown and changed.  She had a couple fun outfits to show off and some little Puma’s… I got the chance to peek into this darling’s closet and I have to say, she has quite the wardrobe!

She was so good during the session, I don’t think I heard her cry once!  But she did make her mom and dad work quite hard to get some smiles out…when I first got there she was just waking up from a nap and she was very relaxed!

She was so relaxed just sitting on the couch.  Doesn’t she look like such a hip little lady in her outfit!? Check out her baby Puma’s!
